Automatic Inspection of Workpieces and Materials

Many inspection equipments is used in the manufacturing line of the manufacturing industry to maintain quality. There are various methods, and the main inspection factors are appearance shape, dimensional accuracy, mass, etc. We design and develop equipment that automatically inputs inspection objects into this inspection equipment, and acquires inspection results. We mainly handle inspections of the following items.

・Pipe Outer Diameter, Length, Side Hole

・Appearance Scratches, Hitting Trace

・Chip Residue

It mainly refers to resin filling defects (molding defects) found in injection molded products. The cause of this phenomenon is that the heated and softened resin is cooled and cured before it reaches the end of the mold, or an air pool is generated during injection and partial insufficient filling is performed.

Before and after the product is made in injection molding, it is necessary to replace the air (+ gas generated from the material) originally contained in the mold with the resin. Of course, in the process of filling the material, the air is pushed out from the gap of the mold, but at this time, the air (gas) that has nowhere to go is compressed and heated to a high temperature, and it makes burning marks.
